The supermarket comparison website Trolley compares prices across 15 stores, helping save as much as 30% on grocery shopping.  Keep an eye out for the daily deals.

Kitche

Use the Kitche app to scan your supermarket receipt to keep track of the food you bought. It suggests recipes and reminds you when food is about to expire. 

Olio

Olio website allows you to give and get free stuff, as well as borrow and lend household items – all directly from your community. 

Too Good to Go

Café’s, restaurants and supermarkets have lots of food about to expire by the end of the day. The Too Good to Go app allows you to buy a cheap mystery bag valued at around £10. 

Facebook Groups

Local groups are a great way to find second hand clothes, baby goods and toys that are no longer needed.

Freegle

Freegle is a recycling app to buy and sell unwanted household items from furniture to clothes. You can also ask for items.
